The TOEIC®

The TOEIC® (Test Of English for International Communication) is an English test which evaluates non-native speakers' command of the English language. It was created by the American-based  Educational Testing Service (ETS). The test is composed of 200 multiple choice questions: 100 testing oral comprehension and 100 testing reading comprehension, and lasts 2 hours.

Specifically, the English test evaluates oral comprehension, written expression and comprehension, and vocabulary.

The DCL (diplôme de compétence en langue) is a French diploma awarded by the French National Education department (éducation nationale française) which evaluates a student's ability to master a foreign language in professional situations. The test focuses on the use of a foreign language in a practical, professional context.

English Tests - IELTS

The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is an international English language test administered jointly by the University of Cambridge, the British Council and IDP Australia. The test evaluates a student's ability to master international English, particularly various accents. The IELTS tests on oral and written expression, as well as listening and written comprehension.

The Business Language Testing Service (BULATS) evaluates a student's capacity to master English in a professional context. At this time, 4 different tests are offered: a computerized test, a standard test and a test focused on written and spoken expression.

English Tests - CAE

The Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) is an international certification test which evaluates a non-native student's mastery of the English language. The test is administered by Cambridge ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), a program sponsored by the University of Cambridge. The levels of English tested correspond to C1, Advanced and Independent, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The English test has 5 distinct elements: Written comprehension, written expression, grammar, oral comprehension and oral expression.

The First Certificate in English (FCE) is an international certification test which evaluates a non-native student's mastery of the English language. FCE is the third certificate awarded by Cambridge ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), corresponding to an upper-intermediate level of English.

The test has 5 distinct elements: reading, written expression, use of English, oral comprehension and individual training.
